Does Bitcoin 2 have re-protection ??

  • Yes, Bitcoin transaction is invalid in Bitcoin 2 blockchain and vice versa because of the difference between transaction format and blockchain.
How do I claim Bitcoin 2s after a fork ??
  • If you have Bitcoin in block number 507850, ~ 6 February and your Bitcoin is not on the exchange, then simply download and install Bitcoin 2 Core Wallet.
  • You can then import your Bitcoin private key or copy your Bitcoin wallet.dat file to where Core 2 Bitcoin Wallet is installed to claim your Bitcoin 2s.
  • If you are worried about security to do so, you can: First, move the BTC to a new address, then use the private key from the "old" address (which now has 0 BTC and therefore can not be stolen) to claim your BTC2.
  • If your Bitcoin is on the exchange, ask for your exchange to Bitcoin 2 list and your balance value.
How to handle Bitcoin 2s ??
  • Simply download and install Bitcoin 2 Core Wallet and import your Bitcoin 2s into it. So all you have to do is keep running the app.
